    No bark dog collars are special collars that -as the name implies - will help your dog control excessive barking. Although with enough training and patience you can teach your dog to control excessive barking, these collars offer a more practical solution.

    No bark dog collars are electronic collars that you put around the neck of your dog.  They have a small device that can detect whenever the dog is barking.  So each time your dog barks, it sends a stimulus to the dog, that makes him stop barking.  If your dog insists on barking, the stimulus will be triggered again.  With some use, our dog will be conditioned enough to stop excessive barking.     A dog training collar is a great aid to train your dog on obedience and for sports without the need of a professional trainer. Along with a leash, it will help you retain control of your dog during the training and will let you both make the most out of every training session.  To properly choose a dog training collar, you should measure your dog’’s neck and choose one that fits not too tight and not too loose.

    There are many types of dog collars.  I wouldn”t recommend the ones that choke or hurt your dog (like chain collars and prong collars).  Ideally, these collars should serve only to correct, but it is very easy for the owner to end up using too much strength when pulling (more…)
