Puppy Pad Training
When you bring home your little puppy, the first thing that you should start doing is practicing some house training. This means teaching your dog how to behave and what the rules in your home are. Puppy pad training is something that not all people recommend; the reason is that basically you are starting to teach your dog to eliminate inside the house, while they think it is a better idea to teach your dog to eliminate on the outside from the start. They are specially useful when you are not home. In these cases, and if you”ve trained your dog to go to the outside, the poor puppy will be waiting hours before he can eliminate! - When the dog eliminates on the pad, pet him and praise him. This way you”ll reinforce the good habit.
